Frequently Asked Question
What is the Certificate of Completion?
Last Updated 7 years ago
A Certificate of Completion is the document that proves you passed the required course. It is needed when reporting to the state the completion of your insurance licensing or designation course.
- If you took a designation course you are required to submit your Certificate of Completion to your state’s insurance licensing entity, ex. in Florida the Florida Department of Financial Services (FLDFS), after your college or school mails or emails it to you.
- If you took a pre-licensing certificate course your college or school will mail or email a copy of your Certificate of Completion to you and will also report your successful completion to your state’s insurance licensing entity.
