INSCE026 - Property and Casualty Insurance CE Course

Welcome to the online Property & Casualty CE Course. You will enjoy being able to study when you want, what you want and for as long as you want. With this online course, you control your progress and we ensure you are exposed to all the information you will need to be successful.
This course is structured with the right content, delivered in small quantities, with learning assured through frequent fill-in-the-blank and other style questions, elements of information emphasized and instructor guided learning. Several tools are provided to make your learning straightforward and comprehensive.
This course is designed as a continuing education elective course for Agents, Customer Representatives and Claims Adjusters not including Public Adjusters. Topics include:
- Insurance terms and risk concepts
- Insurance contracts
- Personal Auto Policy
- Business Auto Policy and Garage Policy
- Residential property and liability insurance (Homeowners (HO) & Dwelling Property (DP) policies
- Commercial property insurance including the business package policies
- Commercial liability insurance, excess liability insurance and workers compensation
- Transportation insurance (Inland marine, ocean marine and aviation insurance)
- Law and ethics
You need to complete all the lessons in a unit before you can take the unit quiz. You need to complete all the unit quizzes before attempting the Final Exam. Lessons do not count toward your final course grade (but must be completed). The unit quizzes averaged together count for 50% of your course grade, the Final Exam counts for the other 50%. You need a score of 70% or better on each quiz, final exam, as well as the course average to successfully complete the course.
The author and instructor of the course is Joseph Donovan CLU, ChFC, CFP and MSFS. He has more than 25 years as an instructor in insurance and has achieved the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and The Chartered Financial Consultant designations and the Master of Science Degree from The American College.
