OnLine State Approved ACA insurance license designed to meet requirements set forth by the Florida Department of Financial Services to obtain your (5-20) Independent Adjuster, or (6-20) Company Adjuster Designation licenses.
This course is designed to be completed at your own pace via the Internet. The course contains Eight Units or Modules. Each unit is graded separately. There is also a final monitored classroom exam. The grade scores from each unit and the final classroom exam score will be averaged to produce a total passing score. You must have a final course average score of 70% to receive your Certificate of Completion.
Section one addresses Property and Liability insurance concepts, Insurance Contracts and Law, and Adjusting Practices. Section Two explores Ethics, Communication & Negotiation. Section Three discusses various aspects of Automobile Insurance. Section Four covers Residential Property Insurance. Section Five addresses Commercial Property Insurance, including Marine Dwelling. Section Six discusses Casualty/Liability Insurance. Section Seven addresses Health Insurance and Residual Markets, and finally Section Eight explains Florida Statutes.
Jan Bradburn has developed curriculum and taught classes in private schools in Florida for 16 years. She holds a 2-20 General Lines Agent insurance license and currently holds a position as a Training Manager for a major P&C insurer.
