Q12.  How long does the state give me to complete my CE credits?

     Most states have a two-year cycle for the CE credits requirement. The State of Florida requires 24 hours of CE for most agents, there are exceptions. Plus, Florida will give up to four 90-day extens ions for extreme hardship cases, which must be well documented and approved (69B-228.230 FS). Contact the FLDFS for more information. If you are in another state, check with your department of insurance for any similar policies.
