GED - Mathematics The GED Tests measure your knowledge and academic skills against those of today's traditional high school graduates. OnLine Training offers a complete course for each GED test. Our instructors will tell you what to expect when you take the GED Tests, what your scores mean when you receive them, and how to use your GED diploma to enroll in a college or university program of your choice. Prerequisites: None Author: James L. Harned, PhD This section will help the student develop high school graduate level skills in arithmetic, including fractions, multiplication, division, addition, subtraction, percentages and other measurements, and basic statistical measures. The course will also cover algebra and geometry. The student should learn how to effectively estimate answers, solve a problem requiring multiple steps to solve, discern between material needed and not needed in solving a problem, and how to recognize when you do not have enough information to answer a problem. Upon the satisfactory completion of this section the student will be able to pass the post-test and successfully pass the mathematics portion of the GED test. To view the syllabus click here.
