GED - Language Arts: Reading Mathematics - The GED Tests measure your knowledge and academic skills against those of today's traditional high school graduates. Prerequisites: None Author: James L. Harned, PhD In the literature and arts course, the student will be exposed to all forms of literature. He or she will be trained on how to interpret what he or she has read in the workplace,in popular literature, classical literature, and commentary written about literature, music, fine arts, poetry, and drama. The purpose of this section is to help the student become a discerning reader on these subjects. The student will practice application of new information to a situation, and appreciate quality in art, and literature. He or she should be able to complete the post-test successfully and pass the art and literature portion of the GED upon successful completion of this section. To view the syllabus click here.
