Lostman Five Campsite
Our second night was spent at Lostman Five campsite. Our concern for raccoons
caused us to protect our water and food. We carried 30 gallons of water in
2 1/2 gallon plastic containers, to insure we each had at least a gallon available
per day. The tents were a blessed relief and ensured we had a mosquito free
night. We all enjoyed a good nights sleep. The ground at Lostman Five is perpetually
wet. Every time we moved a foot a puddle of water remained in the foot print.
Thus a good waterproof ground clothe is essential.
