President and CEO of OnLine Training

Dr. Terrence R. Redding, PhD.
Dr. Terrence R. Redding, Ph.D.

Dr. Redding has been designing and teaching adult education courses since 1968. Terry is a past W. K. Kellogg Fellow and has a doctoral degree in Adult and Higher Education. He has a Masters in the Psychology of Education and is an honors graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. His research has dealt with adult motivation theory and the origins of self-directed learning readiness. He has specialized in cognitive learning models and is the co-developer of the Honeycutt Redding Cognitive Task Analysis Model.

For the past ten years he has been involved in an on going series of research projects associated with the development of high self-directed learning readiness. Of great significance is the finding that children between ages 8 and 15, who become high self- directed learners, typically share a common childhood experience. Redding has labeled this experience "the first moment of lasting excitement." High self-directed learners who share this common experience can remember some event that has captured their imagination for life. Typically these individuals find their life long learning endeavors in some way tied to this "first moment of lasting excitement".

He held his first insurance license in 1974 and was again licensed 1989 through 1992 as part of his responsibilities at the Oklahoma Research Center for Continuing Professional and Higher Education. More recently Terry has been the Director of Corporate Training and Corporate Computer Training at Palm Beach Atlantic College. He is the author of numerous referred chapters dealing with adult learning theory. He is the founder of OnLine Training Institute.

Brad Weishaupt

General Manager

Brad Weishaupt, MCM

Brad received his BA in Music from Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, FL, and a Masters of Church Music from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. He is a published instrumental music arranger with over 25 arrangements having been printed by several publishers.

Brad served for 25 years as a full-time Church Music Director in churches in South Carolina and Florida, and had many local and state teaching opportunities during that time. He also worked in training, technical support, and software development for a national computer software company. Brad served as an Adjunct Professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach Florida, and at Francis Marion College in Florence, South Carolina. He has also taught part-time at various private schools and homeschool groups.

Brad previously worked for OnLine Training in Compliance, and returned in 2014 as Director of Corporate Training, specializing in course development. Moving to General Manager in 2015, Brad is now over all Course Development, Compliance and Corporate Training. He has overseen 75 new courses being State-approved since returning to OLT. Brad has served on the Board of Directors for OnLine Training since January of 2007.

Maria Arbona

Chief Registrar

Maria Torres-Arbona- Maria's pleasant personality makes her a joy to work with. She is the reason that OLT runs so smoothly. She is the contact person for all corporate partners, and handles all major student problems. Her bilingual skills are often a blessing for a large number of our students. Maria also manages Dr. Redding's schedule and can coordinate his schedule with those needing to meet with him. Her background includes work as a legal secretary and college registrar. Maria has worked with Dr. Redding since before the founding of OLT. First, as the Assistant to the Director of Corporate Training when they were both at Palm Beach Atlantic College, and then as the first employee of OLT after its founding in 1997.

Francisca De La Cerda

Assistant Registrar

Francisca De La Cerda- Is our assistant registrar. She answers the phone at OLT and responds to the register email account. Fran registers all students and sends confirmation of usernames, passwords and details on the course the student is taking. She is an assistant to our chief registrar, handling all duties to the best of her knowledge. She has a background in customer service and retail. She is a social and energetic person who loves to be outside and find new things to do . Francisca was born and raised in West Palm Beach. She plans to get an insurance license which would be beneficial to our students. One thing Francisca enjoys doing is cooking different meals from different cultures. Francisca has been with OLT since March of 2017.

Peter Gilzene

Sales/Marketing/Assistant to the General Manager

Peter Gilzene- Peter helps out in marketing, compliance and editing, and does research projects for OLT. He is in college pursuing his business major, hoping to some day open up his very own business. Peter is a out going person who loves to meet new people, and likes trying new things. He doesn't mind trying something and failing because it's a learning lesson and it only teaches him how to do it better. Peter has been with OLT since March of 2017.

Kim Wenke

LAN Technology

Kim Wenke is rejoining the workforce after spending some time at home raising her three children.  She has a BS in Sports Management from Rutgers University and previously worked in the IT field for over 10 years.  Prior to that, Kim worked in a Property/Casualty insurance agency and AISG (American Insurance Services Group) for a few years. She is looking forward to assisting the customers and staff here at OLT. Kim joined OLT in March of 2017.

Sandra A. King

Web Mistress

Sandra A. King- Has a 16 year background in editing academic papers, chapters and publications, seven years of experience in marketing and five years of experience in website design and Internet based systems administration. She is the person at OLT who sets up web accounts, puts new courses online, and keeps the website looking clean. Her bright response to new situations is uniformly insightful and refreshing. Sandra has held many titles at OLT since she started working with us in 1998.
Barbara A. Redding - Corporate Secretary and Financial Coordinator

Corporate Secretary and Financial Coordinator

Barbara A. Redding - Graduated with honors from Florida Atlantic University with a double degree in Anthropology and Interdisciplinary Social Science. Barbara spent eight years as a 'hotline' phone counselor for the Von Hipple-Lindau Family Alliance dealing with issues associated with familial cancer based on several years of formal nursing education and thousands of hours as a hospital volunteer. She has more than a decade of experience in accounting, having studied accounting at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma. Barbara brings to OLT a warm and caring personality and a sharp mind that is well equipped for finance related problems. She has volunteered at OLT and various civic organizations throughout the years, but has been with OLT as an employee since March of 2005.
Mary Elizabeth Fabian

Director of OLT West

Mary Elizabeth Fabian - has returned to OLT as Director of OLT West. You may remember Mrs. Fabian as a previous OLT Compliance Manager. Having returned from work in Law and Intellectual Property Management, Mrs. Fabian brings a passion for innovation and appreciation for expansion. She is the key contact for Global Learn Day (http://bfranklin.edu/), a celebration of mankind's learning that focuses on "One Planet, One People". She is also the OLT Instructor of Record for Navigating the Social Security Maze, offered through various colleges and OLT direct.

In her spare time, Mrs. Fabian serves on the board of several charities in Colorado Springs. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends while soaking up the Colorado sun on long hikes.


Sarah Lynn Redding

Educational Technologist

Sarah Lynn Redding- Is responsible for maintaining the OnLine Training's servers and updating our website. She also tests how new products will perform on various devices and the best ways to reach our students through technology and insure a problem free experience while on our site.

She is currently working on completing her Master's degree at Florida Atlantic University where she has spent the last six years working as a Supplemental Instructor and Tutor for various math and science courses. She also has a certificate in GIS and spent the first two years of her Graduate program working as a Teaching Assistant for the Department of Anthropology. It is our hope that her recent inclusion to our team will bring us closer to meeting the needs of our students and help us to reach a larger audience.

Insurance Licensing and Continuing Education

Jan Bradburn - Has developed curriculum and taught classes in private schools in Florida for 16 years. She holds a 2-20 General Lines Agent insurance license and currently holds a position as a Director of Design & Development for a major P&C insurer.

She has taught at every grade level including preschool, elementary, middle and high school, and corporate college, which has helped her gain a better understand of the developmental learning process. After obtaining her license, she began designing and delivering insurance, pre-licensing and continuing education training. She leads a countrywide team of designers who develop curriculum for adult learners in the corporate insurance industry. She holds a degree in Developmental Psychology and certification in Curriculum Development, Training Management and Presentation skills.

She has worked for OnLine Training as a curriculum developer and instructor for 12 years.

Jerry E Bateman
Jerry E. Bateman, CLU, ChFC, LUTCF. - Has been active in the insurance and financial services industry since 1976. During this time, he has attained the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designations, both conferred by the American College, and the Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designation through the Life Underwriter Training Council. Additionally, he attained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Auburn University in 1972.

In 1997, Mr. Bateman started an insurance and financial planning agency that was incorporated in 2002 and called Financial Coaching, Inc. This agency is still active today.

In 1998, Mr. Bateman started teaching continuing education classes for Life, Health, and Variable Annuity agents in central Florida. In 1999, he founded, Bateman Learning, Inc., a company that is a continuing education provider in the state of Florida. Mr. Bateman has taught more than 500 days of classes since 1997. Also, Mr. Bateman has worked as a continuing education instructor at Seminole Community College, Lake-Sumter Community College, and Valencia Community College.

Mr. Bateman's primary goal is to assist new and existing agents in their educational needs. The insurance and financial services business is a wonderful place for anyone that wants to help people make great decisions for themselves, their families, and their businesses.
Joseph Donovan
Joseph Donovan, ChFC, CLU, MSFS. - Has been in the insurance industry for the last twenty years and has been an insurance instructor for the last eighteen. He holds a Master of Science degree in Financial Services (MSFS) from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. Besides being an insurance CE course provider and instructor he is currently an adjunct professor for Palm Beach State College in Florida.

He has been teaching insurance CE courses, the Chartered Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and the Chartered Financial Consultant (CHFC) designations and the training of agents to secure the Federal financial services licenses for the last 20 years for the center of financial studies in New York.
He also held a position in management with Allstate insurance company for 20 years. His primary responsibilities with Allstate included; the recruitment and development of agents, assist agents in the opening and development of insurance agencies, training agents in business management and the licensing of their staff.
More recently, he developed several CE courses exclusively for the On Line Training Inc. and is the author of the "Property and Casualty Insurance for Insurance Practitioners" generic text book to be used by students and instructors in the preparation for the states' (all states) property and casualty and general lines insurance license exam.
Jeffrey King
Jeffrey King - Has been a licensed life, health, and general lines agent since 1989.  His professional insurance career began with Prudential Insurance and included several years as an agent for an independent multi-lines agency before opening his own insurance agency.  He is currently President of King Insurance & Financial Services, Inc. in Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Mr. King's instructional career began in 1996 as an Adjunct Instructor for Brevard Community College.  He has taught several college level business classes, including "Intro to Business" and "Business Management."  Currently, he teaches insurance pre-licensing classes, as well as continuing education classes at Brevard Community College, Polk Community College, and Valencia Community College.

Mr. King received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 1981 and an MBA from University of Central Florida in 1987.  He is currently a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters.  He lives with his wife and son in Cocoa Beach, Florida and in his leisure time enjoys traveling and playing on the beach.
James E Drake
James E. Drake, CPCU, CLU, ARM. - Has served as Executive Vice President at McKinley Financial Services Inc., for the past fourteen years. He manages all property and casualty functions.  His experience in the insurance industry has included risk management positions with Metropolitan Life, PepsiCo Inc. and Price Communications Corporation.   He was also an executive with E. G. Bowman Co. Inc., a national insurance brokerage.

Jim received a degree in economics from City College, City University of New York and earned a Master in Business Administration degree from Baruch College.  He holds the designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and has been engaged over the years as a certified insurance instructor in various Continuing Education Programs.  Jim has been, in addition, a contributor to industry- related publications, including Rough Notes. A resident of Sunrise in Broward County, he is active in business organizations.
Larry Hartmann

Larry Hartmann, CLU. - With a graduate degree in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Chartered Life Underwriter designation from the American College, Larry has been active in life and health insurance sales, management and training for over 40 years

After a successful time in sales, he spent 15 years as director of agent training for a major insurance agency based in New York City. He has also served as Vice President of Sales for a major insurance company where he developed and administered a national marketing organization. While working with a major benefit consulting firm, he developed and presented interactive financial and retirement planning workshops to Fortune 500 companies worldwide.

For the last 15 years he has been involved with instructing and authoring life & health pre-licensing and continuing education courses for several business schools in New Jersey.

Ken Toney
Ken Toney, CPCU, CLU, SCLA, ARM, AIC. - Is an active Live and Online Insurance Instructor who is eager to work with students new to the insurance industry. Ken has eight years of Claims Adjusting experience mentoring adjusters at USAA and Zurich Insurance Companies. He has spent the last twenty years building captive and independent insurance agents, CSRs and agency owners.

Ken was an instructor for Warner University from 1995 to 2005 teaching: Economics, Business Law, Business Management, Statistics and Operations Management among other courses. Mr. Toney has a passion for new insurance professionals and their pre-licensing training.

Ken earned his BA in Business Administration from Warner University in 1991 and an MBA Master of Business Administration in Finance from Webster University in 1995. He holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Senior Claims Law Associate (SCLA), Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Associate in Claims (AIC) designations.

Jack Rotzien ObituaryJack Rotzien, CLU. - Has been directly involved in designing and delivering insurance training, pre-licensing courses, and continuing professional education courses in Florida for over 33 years. He is a founding member of OnLine Training, Inc. His commitment to students and his strong desire to aid them in being successful has been a hallmark of all his instructional endeavors.

He is the past founder and president of Insurance Systems of Florida which certified over 18,000 pre-licensing students before the school was sold in 1991. Jack entered the insurance business with The John Hancock in 1975. He later became a unit manager and recruiter. During this period Jack started a Life and Health licensing school under the sponsorship of the Palm Beach Chapter of CLU, ChFC. He has been active in the Palm Beach Association of Life Underwriters. He is a former officer and board member of the Palm Coast Association of Health Underwriters. He is a past President of the Palm Beach County Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals.

Jack began working with OLT in 1998, and we are sad to say, recently passed away. He was active with us for most of OLT's 20-year history.

Ophelia Holmes

GED Coordinator and Instructor

Ophelia Holmes - Has over 15 years of teaching experience. She has taught mathematics for 13 years. She was a GED instructor and worked with Adult and Community Education for several years. She graduated with honors from Tallahassee Community College and received an Associate in Arts degree. Ophelia attended Florida A&M University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences and a Master's degree in Mathematics Education. While attending Florida A&M University, she received a United States National Achievement Award in mathematics and received an honor's certificate in mathematics.

Ophelia joined OLT in 2015.
Sandra A. King

Nanci Lemaster

Instructor for Canada

Nanci LeMaster- Has 18 years experience in adult education as a teacher and program administrator. Her undergraduate degree in Learning Disabilities and Masters degree in Alternative Education with administrative endorsement provides her with knowledge and skills that supports teaching and learning.

Recently, Nanci has been involved in curriculum development for online learning.

Don Widmayer

Director of OLT Real Estate School

Don Widmayer - Course Writer, Instructor, Assoicate Broker

Don has been in the real estate business for over 34 years beginning his career in Virginia inside the beltway near Washington, DC. He began teaching prelicensing real estate courses in the late 90's in Virginia Beach, and continued instructing students after moving to Florida in the early 2000s.

Don has continued to instruct and guide students since moving to Florida. He currently is Director of Education for a Florida school and has taught thousands of students over the years. He not only teaches courses for the school, but also for more than 10 years has taught for two local Florida REALTOR associations teaching continuing education and the NAR Code of Ethics.

Don currently holds the following licenses: Florida broker, instructor, appraiser instructor, and Virginia broker and instructor licenses. He is also a member of the Real Estate Educators Association which provides networking opportunities and instructor and school owner education allowing him to provide the best experience possible for each and every student he instructs whether personally or through his online courses. He has been writing online course for a few online companies since 2005.

Don is not an "all work and no play" kind of guy. One of his passions is sailing. "Every opportunity that I have, I go out on the water"

Instructor Susan Phelps

Susan Phelps - Associate Broker, Real Estate Investor, Certified Relocation Specialist

Susan has been working in the Real Estate industry for the past ten years. She started as a real estate investor buying rental property and flipping houses. She has been an active realtor since 2006 and holds an Associate Broker's license in the State of Georgia. She is also certified with all the national relocation companies to work with buyers & sellers who are relocating with their employers.

Susan started her carrier in technology sales and hiring, managing & training sales forces. She earned her Executive Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Kennesaw State University. Susan has experience facilitating software training for pharmaceutical reps on Customer Relationship software.

Susan joined OLT in 2015.

Lillian D. Bjorseth

Judith Patino-Rodrigue - Advertising sales and marketing executive, Judith Patino-Rodrigue, is an author, certified professional and life coach, instructor, and training and development specialist who helps individuals reach their goals through proven processes and practices. Her career includes providing solutions to clients and helping individuals identify and eliminate beliefs that stop them from finding their inner happiness and achieving success.

While employed at DHL Worldwide Express and Nortel Networks, Judith developed and delivered soft skills training programs throughout the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean, both in English and Spanish.  She recently resigned from her Local Sales Manager position at Spanish Broadcasting System to pursue her coaching, revive her training and development career, and launch The Skills Masters, a web-based career and personal development company.

Having coached everyone from those at the top of their game to those suffering in their darkest days, Judith is acutely aware that one's attitude truly does define them.
