COURSE TITLE:

Vascular problems that are commonly seen in a Chiropractors practice.

COURSE PRESENTER: J. A. Tankersley D.C., CAd.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

1. To inform the physician of the signs and symptoms of vascular conditions that would increase the risks of biomechanical treatment
patient and the attendant risks of ignoring the patient's presentations.

2. The relationship of bio-gravitational, cranial and thoracic outlet factors that will influence headaches, upper extremity syndromes,
loss of balance, disorientation and emotional distress

3. Frequency of and avoidance of the risks of the cervical mobilization and subsequent development of stroke (C.V.A.) disorders.
Some suggestions to alternative care approaches and re-introduction of mobilization in patients with vertebral artery compression
versus vertebral artery occlusion patients and the risks of each.

4. To describe the more scientific based protocols for identification and addressing the various disorders and some of the emotional
problems that are associated with a vascular patients life.

5. To prepare the physician with a workable nutritional approach, behavior modification and referrals in order to address the multiple
involvements that a vascular patient faces.

6. To give the physician intervention tools for evaluation of the success of the patient's compliance, other practitioners treatment
plans and a follow up treatment plan to lead the patient into recovery.

This course will take the physician through the process of recognition and identification of a vascular patient; provide a testing format
that will monitor the progress of both the patient's compliance and the physicians plan; develop outside counseling contacts and
methods of intervention (when necessary) for support of the patient and the family.

Helping the physician become aware of the subsequent disorders that can and will develop in an untreated candida patient and the
probability, not possibility of the severe consequences in that patient's life. These include, liver disease, arterial disease, skin
disorders, headache disorders, other associated complications.
